Indium phosphide magic-sized clusters: chemistry and applications

چکیده
Abstract This paper reviews developments in the synthesis of InP quantum dots (QDs) and research on magic-sized clusters (MSCs), which occur as intermediates during growth QDs. We classify MSCs into (1) characterization (2) applications. Several have been developed using low reaction temperatures or strong binding ligands. passivated by carboxylate, amine phosphonate ligands that incorporate heterogeneous atoms (Cl Zn) synthesized. also review tools to characterize show intermediate characteristics MSCs. used precursors for spherical QDs nonspherical nanostructures, such elongated, branched, hyperbranched/dendrimer-like morphologies. present MSC-mediated mechanisms involving fragments, monomers other nanoclusters. Research chemistry applications has uncovered formation process nanomaterials. Developments luminescent properties MSCs, elongated nanostructures would be useful displays.
